This was probably one of the most popular WW2 ‘commercial’ combat knives and shouldn’t be missing in any collection.

It is a bowie-type knife with a handle of compressed leather rings and an aluminum pommel. It was issued with a leather sheath for the Army and a grey plastic scabbard for the Navy, but here you are buying the knife only.

Originally the knife was designed by the Remington Cutlery Company. When the cutlery department of Remington was taken over by PAL, it held on to the original designation RH-36.
RH = Remington Hunting
36 = Blade Type 3, Blade Length 6″

This knife is in used but clean condition. Slight play on ricasso. No rust.
